Kinguyakkii episode 009 is a 6½ hour monster of a set, featuring a whole stack of my favourite trance tunes. As with Episode 008, I’ve had to split it into a few different parts, because the original file is too big for Soundcloud’s upload limit.
This whole mix took well over a week to make, partly because it was the first time I had used the DJ control and effects unit that I’d built within Ableton Live. The unit was a labour of love in itself, taking more than 100 hours to create using various inbuilt effects and a few hacks to boot.
As you can hear, the mix span a variety of styles too - from some pretty chilled deep, techy house at the start through to some massive, big-room trance tunes at the end.
